INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

All of the prices shown on this website are 'land only', and cover you from your arrival in the airport to when we drop you off there again at the end of the tour. We are also happy to provide help, advice and quotations for flight bookings from your preferred departure airport.

We offer our tours this way in order to give our travellers as much flexibility as possible with regard to their departure point, choice of airline, flight times and overall travel dates.

If you would like us to provide some suggested flights and quotes to fit your tour, please contact us or make a note in our online reservation form. We will then provide quotes based on current availability and prices. You are not obliged to use the flights that we offer you and are welcome to search for other options if you wish.

If you are booking a tour at short notice, we recommend that you check availability with us first before confirming any flights. We also recommend that you let us advise you of flight prices before confirming a tour booking as particularly during peak seasons these can increase significantly as the departure date approaches.

Carbon offsets

Each time you take a flight, CO2 is added into the atmosphere. CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is released when fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal are burnt. Greenhouse gases are a major contributor to climate change and Uncover the World supports the principle of carbon offsetting. Offsetting basically involves paying someone to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere on your behalf. In that way you can pay for the damage you are causing by flying, and the money helps to fund transition to a lower-carbon world.

If you would like to offset the CO2 emmissions created on your holiday with us, we can suggest checking the Climate Care website for more information on how ofsetting can support programs around the world. These involve:

  • Renewable energy - replacing non-renewable fuel sources such as coal and oil
  • Energy efficiency - reducing the amount of fuel needed
  • Forest restoration - absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere as the trees grow

So, as well as taking steps to reduce your personal 'carbon footprint', you can offset what remains, helping to promote low-carbon technologies where they have the greatest impact.

Arrival in Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon or Sudan

Upon arrival (normally into Cairo, Amman, Tel Aviv, Beirut or Khartoum airport) you will be greeted by one of our representatives before being transferred directly to your hotel. We run this service 24 hours per day and include it in all of our tour prices. We also include a departure airport transfer at the end of your tour. Full details and arrival instructions will be provided when we confirm your booking.

We are nearly always able to make slight adjustments to your tour itinerary if required to fit the flights that you obtain.

If you are looking for a multi-stop or round the world flight that takes in Egypt, please check out our Round the World Flights blog post.
